Background Information
I have a deep love of the American Indians reverence for the earth
and all species in it. Our choices in the environment will effect
generations to come. What was done to the American Indian is now being done to all of us by Corporate America. it's time for us to make a fuss and make changes.
Lyrics
Verse 1
I’ve seen rivers cry
For a past that said goodbye
Dancing Bear and Lenape
Fading in their memory
I’ve seen footprints on oceans
Medicine men and their potions
Pain or war wounded knee
Fading in their memory
Chorus
Money is green the sky is blue
Fly the white flag, this one’s for you
2nd Verse
Shiny machines and computer chips
Are the weapons of war on nuclear ships
A wisp of smoke a slight of hand
Red man’s gone with his band
Circle’s of time in light years of rhyme
Following the dots on the little white line
Pastures of plenty and seas of honey
Hunger and death the gods of money
Chorus:
3rd Verse
Paul robs Peter and Peter robs Paul
One size fits all at the local mall
Money for this and money for that
Corporate lobbyists getting fat
The past is the past and where do we go
The children of Darfor and the Navaho
Global warming and so much to do
So dream your dreams and make them come true
Chorus
LITTLE RED BUS
